Here's a question - if you sit in another Starbucks, and you can see they are short staffed, is there ever a tiny urge to go pitch in and help ?

I used to worry a lot too - usually about what other people thought. Then the kids came along, and that kind of got forgotten... until you just reminded me.

(off to obsess over what people think of me again now) lol

I always think its much easier to watch a movie first THEN read the book.. because the book goes deeper generally then a movie.. but a movie gives the basic idea..

I had to watch the movie 3 times because I knew I missed "something"... in fact, I think I shall watch it again..

I will rent the book & read it eventually. I have trouble grasping what I read because in school I had horrible reading problems, learning I was, am, whatever, Dyslexic. I read much better now at age 53.

Perhaps it means that your thoughts and concerns are focussed on others - not yourself. That's a fantastic quality to have.

I think you have half of my brain (or something like that)... I feel the same way very often - or, strangely, the opposite - feel like I'm trapped in my own life...

You're a great writer. Start writing down some of the stories you have about people you've met or seen. Before you know it, you'll have your own book full of interesting stories. :)
